Options Counseling

Providing options counseling in a person-centered, interactive decision-support process.

This program helps ensure that Imperial County residents have what they need to live a stable life. ICADRC assists with providing personalized assistance to help you understand the long-term service and support system. This helps connect you to resources and programs that will help you or your loved one make informed choices and remain as independent as possible in the community.

Eligibility Requirements

Be a senior (60 years of age or older) or adult (18 years old and older) with a disability and in need of options counseling.

If you are considering any of the following, Options Counseling could be an option for you:

My loved one (or myself) is getting older, and I want to know what is available in terms of financial assistance and care.

I would like to learn what is available to support me as I age that will help me remain in my home and live as independently as possible.

  • Helps Individuals Identify and Apply for Programs That Best Fit Their Needs
  • Provides Education and Referrals to Resources
  • Assists in an Appeal When Eligibility or Coverage is Denied
  • Advocates on Your Behalf
